Installation Instructions Windows + Linux

Windows XP
-------------------

Note: If you're running Windows-Vista, we recommend to install the Linux-package, because the Setup-file is not tested under Vista.

Special Note: Don't use this setup file if you installed the boxed version of the Enhanced Edition without having previously installed an older version. If you had an older version of the game installed and installed the boxed version of the EE on top of it, the setup file will work.

Doubleclick the file "setup_evil_decision_v11.exe", the files will be installed automatically.
Setup will ask you to create a program folder, you can simply hit next or choose another folder of your liking. Wait until setup has finished to create the files, make sure you read the included Readme-file. After installation and checking the Readme run your Witcher game and choose Evil Decision from the listed adventures, have fun.




Linux + Windows Vista
--------------------------------

You have to download the "Linux + other systems" package called "raventeam_evildecision_linux.rar" and install the files manually.
Note: You can also use this package with windows, but we recommend to use the Setup-file with all windows-versions lower than Vista.

Installation instructions:
1. Copy the file "evildecision.adv" to your C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\The Witcher folder. If you are not sure where this is, search for the file "m1_module.adv"and put "evildecision.adv" into the same folder.
2. Copy the .bik files into your The Witcher\Data folder (Attention: The movies won't run if you put them into the movies subfolder! They have to be in the Data folder.)
3. Start The Witcher and choose "New game", "New adventures" and then choose "Evil Decision" from the list.
4. Have fun...
